On Saturday, May 16th, Reason to Thrive had the incredible opportunity to partner with the 50/50 Fundraising Organisation at the Doomben Racecourse. It was a high-energy day filled with excitement, and we were so proud to be the selected charity for the event!
Our amazing RTT committee managed to rally 26 dedicated volunteers who spent the afternoon connecting with racegoers and selling raffle tickets. After five hours of non-stop energy, the results were nothing short of spectacular: the volunteers raised a whopping $24,000 for 50/50!
With just under half of that total going directly to Reason to Thrive, this is a massive win for our mission. We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to every single person who gave up their Saturday afternoon to help us. Your support makes our work possible!
