Well Groomed Race Day - 16th September 2023

We would like to say a massive thank you to Lorilie Cunningham, and the Well-Groomed committee, for choosing Reason to Thrive as one of the charities being supported at their fun Race Day and Lunch, on Saturday 16^th September 2023

We felt extremely honoured to be given the opportunity to showcase our unique, equine-focused life-skills programs, to a marquee full of people who share the same love, and respect for horses, as we do.

Well-Groomed focuses not only on the welfare of the racing thoroughbred, but their life after they have finished racing.  It was therefore with great delight, and enthusiasm, that we were able to talk about the wonderful thoroughbreds that have transitioned from the race-track, into a new career as Reason to Thrive’s amazing EAL life-skills teachers, and all the successes they have achieved.

Thank you so much, Lorilie, for giving RTT this great opportunity, and for helping to raise so many people’s awareness of who we are.

The funds donated to us from this wonderful event have allowed us to provide fully-funded EAL “Re-Build” programs, to a number of women and their families across SEQld, who have been impacted by domestic/family violence.
